Not sure where the ypr comes in for a gun however I would just shop around on the bazaars for guns that are your level and compare them. Its possible that it is a good gun but you have to compare it with others of the same level to find out for sure.

Well if it has a yrp its an engine not a weapon.

that is a much better weapon than the one you are using now but you can't use a tier 4 weapon yet. (also wepons don't have ypr... they have vs shields and vs armor an .70 for both is really good). I would just sell the weapon to a chassis dealer because by the time you can use it you will get weapons with 2000 to 2900 max damage.

Ok, here's where you need to go read the FAQ's that's stickied to the top of the pilot forum. There is a LOT of great information there. Reading it will increase your knowledge about ship parts and levels, and in general make it possible for you to get a lot more from being a pilot.

Sorry for the misunderstanding on my end.I was thinking about the shield and armor aspects, and they are like 70. Anyway in 40 xp when i can use it (when i am 1121 or 1211 i cant rem which gives you the compenents) will that be a good weapon for me that early on? I have looked at bazaars and can not find one better. Also if anyone can put me in a direction to finda reactor for my dunie, i cant find one that has 12000 energy and that is a little over what i need for that ship. I cant find one, granted i am new and have not ventured to the vendors yet but it would be nice to use my new toy.. Thanks again for helping a new guy, it is always apprecaited.

You might want to get in touch with a Ship Wright on your server, who will be able to help you through some of these issues, and relieve you of some of the credits you have been earning in space. Crafted components are very competitive, especially for new players, so try to find a SW.

Sorry.... i thought you meant Mark 4 apparently you mean level 4. that is a pretty good weapon for a level 4.

Thanks it is good to know that that weapon is good, since my next missions look to have tier 2 and 3 guys all over the mission. I have to grind out some more xp before i can use it , and find a reactor lol. Cant believe they are so rare. I mean money is not a obstical i just want one lol. Thanks again guys for the help.

BTW is anyone a freelance pilot? the second mission i got from the guy on coronet corsec, was a mission where i had to take out 3 tier 3 escorts (no biggie) and a tier 2 A wing guy. He was a leader or something like that, anyway i tried and tried to kill him but he kept hypering out cuz i took too long. I had to get 2 friends of mine to come out there and help me kill him. He was only tier 2 and wow i have alot of work to do if they only get harder lol.....
