Thread: No flight computers on starter ships?

I have recently switched factions from freelance to Imperial and aquired the starter tie fighter. After switching out some equipment and installing a droid interface,I can't seem to get my lvl 1 flight computer's memory bank to load into the darn thing. Is this working as it should be or did i do something wrong? Any help would be appreciated thanks!

need to find yourself a droid controller, they dont come with them for some reason.

Do you mean a droid interface? I built one and shoved it in there, it still won't load the memory bank.

No, I've never heard of the issue before. Frankly, though, it might not be worth losing sleep over. Get to 1100 in your Pilot path and pick up a TIE or heavy TIE and ditch the 10k mass starter ship. It's not worth keeping around for an Imperial Pilot that can get a 40k mass TIE after one or two skill boxes and a few thousand credits. If you have an issue with an FC in a TIE/ln then let us know.

Well i threw together some spare resources and built my own Light Duty Newb fighter. Took all my gear off the starter ship and put it on the new chassis and was able to load the FC with no probs. Apparently Flight comps are not for use in the "gimme" Tie. Why go through all this trouble? Because i got the tools, and i got the talent! I'm gonna get my Tier 1 boxes in Style! It's millah tyme!
