Thread: Problem Joining The Neutral Corsec Sqaudron Please Help

I resigned my Neutral Pilot at Bestine, and went to Coronet to join the Corsec Squadron but the npc will not allow me to, I have -5000 Corsec faction rating however the CSR say this should not matter, there is a bug atm where you do not get faction points for killing meatlumps or the mobs in theAfaratha cave so I cannot raise this, has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you get round it to join the Corsec Squadron?
The CSR is incorrect insofar as CorSec faction does matter for joining the CorSec pilot squadron. In order to remedy this I went to the city outskirts and killed a few hundred Ragtags / Meatlumps (one of the two) to give CorSec faction. I was unaware of any particular bug present at the moment in regard to gaining CorSec faction, as it worked for me recently and I don't believe we've had any major publishes since then. Try killing various types round the city to see what gives positive faction, and if you have no luck file a ticket.

CorSec ground faction does stop you from joining CorSec
The NPC says something like "You've had a questionable past." And won't let you join.
If you get back into the positive #'s though, you should be able to join normally.
The Neutral Corvette Ground missions out of Jabbas Palace take down your CorSec faction Really fast.
But you can go to the Rogue CorSec POI on Corellia and get it back up to +5000 pretty quickly.

I tried killing: Rogue Corsec, Afarathu and Followers of Lord Nyax ... but I have yet to get any CorSec faction.

Currently bugged, no one can gain Corsec faction points.
CSR's won't help.
