You should ask on your server's forums. Asking for pilots here to grind your xp is like saying that the JSF needs more mass. You really should do the flying on your own, it's the only way to become a better pilot. There is about 5 or 6 very good guides listed in the FAQ that can give you pointers to being a better pilot.

This is what was suggested to me by several pilots.Perhaps then what I should have requested is some pilots to group with so that we take on higher tier ships?? Forgive for my ignorance I'm but alowly noob when it comes space.

Believe it or not, you can work your way from Novice Pilot to 2222 in just a few hours on your own. The key is knowing when to upgrade your ship so you get the most performance for your Tier and know what skills to get first to advance more quickly.

The best progression that my guild uses is X1XX, 11XX, 111X, 1111, 1211, 2211, 2221, 2222.

The second branch unlocks access to the next higher level of components, when you reach it, upgrade ASAP. First your engine, then weapons and shields. Until you reach 1211, you can piecemeal your set up with Level 1 and3 craftedcomponents. At 1211, go for a full Level 5fit out, and ride that till you're up to Tier 3. Along the way, save ALL your loot items. You will hate yourself when you learn later that you dumped a reward component that could end up pretty uber after Reverse Engineering.

Depending on which faction of pilot you pursue, your best ships for grinding will come at various times. Freelancers have it best with the Dunelizard at 1XXX, Rebels are kinda hosed until 2111 when they get the Y-Wing Longprobe, the basic Y-Wing is a two man fighter. I'll bow my head to more knowledgable pilots about the Imperial ships.

The rest is just a matter of learning droid programs, a pretty costly investment that, in my opinion, isn't worth the time or pain until you've got XXX3. After you get into droid programs, its a VERY different game, and will be much easier on you as you progress to master.

The first thing, though, take up your newbie ship and get your control setup comfortable. Remap keys you don't like, set your sensitivities and control boxes and get all that somewhere close to stable before you mess with anything else. You can do this as a part of your first mission, because there is no time limit on it.

Its like the ground game, find your footing and go one step at a time.

I used a different tactic to help a guildie advance from 1111 to 3333 in only a couple of days. The two of us formed a group. I picked up duty mission from my T4 trainer. The two of us proceeded to the mission. I disabled all the fighters while my guildie wingman finished off the fighers. He capped XP VERY VERY quickly.

Imperial: Upgrade to a new ship every chance you get. So go Light Duty to Fighter to TIE/IN to TIE Intercepter to TIE Advanced. Try out the TIE Bomber if you like, many don't like it, some love it, but it takes work.

Still not teaching them anything. Shooting down static targets is a baby step forward from simply afking it in a turret. I've taken to flying wing on pilots and only stepping in when they get in over their head.

Good point, but it's not like T2 ships are well equiped to go toe-to-toe with T4 ships, at least not without droid commands. Look at it this way: at least I got him back in space. He hadn't flown since the early days of JTL.

I will humbly admit that there is no substitute for the grind. I think back to my noob days where the T2 grind seemed to take forever. I really got a feel for driving that bus they call the Ywing LP.
