If you must have a tie and I can see why as an imp, also consider the crison red tie reward ship at 80k mass and quite zippy.
still only one gun though.
I am not an Imperial Pilot, but my friend who is really liked his aggressor when he just got it. He didn't put in a 2nd weapon for the multiplayer gunner and therefore could use the extra mass to his advantage. Probably with better shields / engines and so on.
Though, at that level you'd be able to fly a JSF if you're an Imp on the ground too. You might prefer that over the Aggressor because it has 2 gun mounts instead of the 1 you'd be using on the aggressor.
Of course it depends on the components you're working with, and personal preference.
If you're into using droid programs, remember that the JSF needs an astromech droid. A flight computer won't work with it.
