seconded... the Ionic Pulse wepon is a pain to equip properly on most fighters... the only ship I can get mine to work right on is an Awing.
That sounds like this is the problem... there are a few more broken guns I think but I can't think of any names.
You could always RE it with a working gun... just make sure the working one goes in first.

Thank you for the help Kyrillos. The first weapon I tried switching had the same problem, but both were different kinds of Subpro "trippleblast" guns. Switching it for an entirely different gun in the gunner's position fixed the problem.

Me and my boyfriend went up into space in a TIE Aggressor. I'm the pilot, he's in the turrent position. On his screen, he sees the same static image as when he appeared in space and can not move his turrent on his screen. He can fire, but he doesn't see it fire. it only fire's on my screen. And his firing isn't of too much use when he's just staring at an un-moving image of space.
Hyperspacing, landing and re-launching don't seem to fix this.
Anyone have this bug? Is there a work-around?

Well, there's one problem I see right off the bat: No ship has any turrents on it.

My wife and I ran into the same problem. It took some creative searching on these forums to figure out what was going on.
Some ships do not display all weapon type graphics properly. Our problem weapon was the Ionic Pulse Weapon. If you load this sort of weapon onto an Aggressor, you will get two different effects depending on where you load it.
If it's loaded as a turret gun, the turret gunner will get the static turret problem, and the gun will shoot out the front of the ship when fired.
If it's loaded as a main gun, the weapon will shoot straight out the back of the ship when fired.
The solution is to find a weapon type that is acceptable to the ship. I suspect that this is only a problem with RotW weapons and weapon models. Loading a generic crafted green-laser weapon rather than the Ionic Pulse Weapon fixed the problem for us.

I'm starting to wonder if "turrent" is a real word out there somewhere. People pop up on the GCW board talking about "turrents" all the time.
As to the bug, I have no idea. It has happened to me when I fly in my wife's Krayt sometimes. You might want to check the gun to see if it is damaged. For some reason, I got the "non-moving space" problem after my gun was disabled during one nasty fight. Sadly, we don't use the two-person ships often enough to have tested it in any further detail.
