Awesome fix, glad to see these space exploits get knocked down.


And 50k mass! Lol, beautiful move. Finally they're punishing the exploiters.

I was shivering, a meaningful JTL fix... Two fixes in two Publishes is like, karma or something. Any hope ofa WO3 fix in 22?

That is the best. The devs have a good sense of humor. They should have made the mass higher though, so it's totally unusable.

Eh, what would you use that's 50k? It's not like these are uber items, it's just that they're 0 mass.Only thing that would even be close to 50k is a level 10 weapon.

OK. SERIOUS QUESTIOS.

part is now 50K mass, big deal. Is it left in the chassis or removed when landing? All Anyone with a cheated ship has to do, is just not mess with it anymore and they keep their cheated ship intact otherwise!!

And while were at it and the cats out of the bag (FINALLY), they fix the shield exploit?

The fact remains that the 0 mass items were an exploit, and this is fixing the exploit and it shows a little bit of vindictive humour, which i'm loving

How widespread was this? I'm here reading almost daily, and today is the first time I've ever heard of this little gem.

Been in game for MONTHS.
Lid has been kept tight on it so it doesnt spread.

Offhand i think theres about 5 players on bria that are using KSE RE'd parts. Maybe more. Dunno for sure. Theres also a shield exploit. Hopefully thats on the chopping block next.

if they fix the shield exploit too i will have restored faith in the dev team. they just need to make it so that shields with the 38xx and 48xx values get edited to the corrected 25xx, or to something really small, like .48 and .25 if they want to add some humor.

then there would be only one thing left to do to restore complete balance; go back to the old loot values we had at launch so there wont be any more prenerf gear thats superior to anything you can get now. besides, im going to need to replace a 50k mass prenerf 108 engine.
