The search function rarely, if ever, works for me. Telling someone to use the 'search' function on any SOE board I've seen in alot like telling someone to

poke themselves in the eye repeatedly until the answer spontaneously comes to them...sometimes both generate the same results in comparable time spans.

I advocate the eye poking method due to it's lower frustration level. What's a little ocular discomfort to someone who genuinely seeks answers?

I rarely get the 'Search Unavailable' message, however when I actually DO a simple click on the 'refresh' button on my browser seems to clear it up.

Not as if anyone uses search anyway.

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

My problem is that I alway forget to change the 'within 30 days' part of the search criteria to 'anytime' to go back to posts more than a month old. But my brain is being eaten by worms, so I have an excuse.

Topic.

Someone said that the Rebel Recruiter on Lok gave them, but when I talked to him he said that only my trainer could give me missions. Do I have to master Pilot before taking missions from other squadron's Trainers or something like that?

It's a secret, which is why it's never EVER been discussed here, and thus a search will indeed prove fruitless.

So it's a GOOD thing you didn't waste time typing 'Black Sun Duty' into the little text box in the lower left hand corner of your screen and then clicking 'Search'.

Sammerz, the tier four Rebel trainer in the Lok Hotel will give you that message if you have another space mission in your datapad. Dump the mission and he'll eventually give you the duty, after a lot of snobbery lol...
