It's not that cut and dry for most components. A well-done RE will beat most crafted, but you need a set of the top 5-10% loot drops to do so. Except for pre-nerf, crafted droid interfaces are faster for the mass. Crafted engines have a higher speed, REd even-number cert can have a higher PYR. Crafted reactors are better than 99% of loot/RE reactors. I prefer crafted boosters, good burn time and speed for a lot less mass. Crafted weapons have a higher refire, REd have better effectiveness vs %s.
