That's what I am and I need some advice on what is the best overall ship to use.

Firespray?

B-Wing?

Nek's Ship?

X-wing?

A-Wing?

Y-Wing?

I've heard the KSE is a GIANT flying bull's eye. I'd go with the Bell-22 (nek's ship) Or an X-Wing because it's cool.

What's your primary goal? PVE, PVP, Mix of both? RP?

Unfortunately, the current B-Wing is a pita. Flyable, learnable to become "competent" by a skilled pilot, but never really what it should be, which is a flying ball of death with good survivability. Not a great 1v1 ship, but able to take and dish out. Turn speed needs adjustment and shield capability improved.

The master ships don't really give you any that you'd like to fly serious. Those come from the 3xxx and 4xxx boxes. The Firespray looks really nice and is fine in PVE, but if you ever want to PVP with it, you'll find its at a major disadvantage.

Has anyone found a different vette to kill than the ravager in Kessel to master rebel pilot? I've been looking for that thing for a week and it never seems to be there. I heard the imps can kill a number of vettes, not just the one in kessel. Any similar mobs for us rebs?

There's only the Star Ravager for Rebels (and SA) to kill. There's only the Corellian Corvette for Imps (and RSF) to kill. Corsec can choose which, but not on the spot (it's a choice of who to go to for the missions). Sit in place for a couple of hours watching for it, and sweep the exit point for spinning gunboats first.

Sorry, Kessel is the only place to kill a vette for ace. There are rebel vettes in Deep Space, but only aces can get to Deep Space, and only imps can kill them. They won't give you ace. The Kashyyk vette deal has a guide of its own.
