Thread: Black Epsilon Squadron Tier 3 Mission 3

Wow! What a hard tier so far! How are you all able to do it solo? I was able to complete missions 1 and 2 with the help of an ace pilot, but now we both got dusted on the third! Think I might need a full squadron to take out that nova courrier and its fighter escort. Are there any walkthroughs out there for the Black Epsilon Squadron? Or if you are an ace pilot on the Wanderhome server, send me a tell, I need the help. Thanks!

I helped a friend doing this mission last week. Only two of us, and it wasn't bad at all. He was still in his TIE/In, so basically I was the one doing all the killing and he just tagged along.

The key to all of these missions that have you destroy something that is big and has an escort is to draw the escort ships away and take them out first. It helps to drop Bstrike on the main ship as well. This keeps the main fire off of you and on your NPC help instead. I remember this mission well. The next is the same deal except a little bit more involved with deadlier ships. You definitely should bring a few friends to that party, or a master pilot...

I didnt do'em solo. I had half a dozen freinds to help me out.
For that last Nova, the Queen, get at least one person flying a Bomber, or better yet an Oppressor loaded up with Mk2 Space Bombs. Save your bomberstrikes for the last Nova. Whoever has the mission should stay far away from the Queen, and should not engage it at all. If you get within range, the Queen will make a b-line for the mission holder and smash him.

One Imp ace is more than enough for any ofthe BE Tier 3 missions (Tier4 missions canall be easily soloed -which my friend did)if he knows what he's doing.You don't need space bombs or missiles, really what you need is a big shield with cap shield shunt4 and cap overcharge 3 programs.
