Thread: Pilot XP question (im a noob)
Talk to a friend with an arc, y-wing, krayt, agressor, nova, decimator, or yt-1300. Hop in a turret and have them take you to Kessel, to deepspace, or get them to take a tier 5 duty mission.
You should be able to run through the pilot grind pretty quickly that way, and it sure should be more fun than flying solo.
Depending on what teir you're in, duty missions are one of the best ways to go. You can try for a Kessel run, and hope that it's full of ships, but I've found more often than not, it's pretty empty.
Actually, the way I ground out tier 4 the first time was by helping other pilots on the Storm squadron 2222 mission - Engineer Escort. Man, I hate that mission lol

well I enjoy the missions, but im having a hard time upgrading parts. very few ShipWrights around and the vendors that are stalked are much higher certs then I have.
Hey there. I play on Sunrunner too. Hit up Vek in the mini-mall outside Krath, Naboo. He is fully stocked with all ship parts. I was just there last night and bought level 2 & 3 components. I am a reb pilot 1100. Send me a tell if you want to fly together or against each other if you are an imp! ![]()

Just wondering if doing the duty free missions over and over is really the way to "grind" pilot. I like the mission arcs, they are fun, but the duty free missions seam to be hours upon hours of grinding gaining very little XP. Am I doing something wrong? Is their a better way to get xp or is this how its really done?
What you get cheap booze and cigarettes doing them? Where are those missions?
