In Nabooian space, there are Tier 1 and 2 Droid Fighters that are on static spawns. They're about the size of the Eta-2, perhaps even smaller.

You will not find a better ship type to practice precision gunnery skills on than these. If you can hit them with single shot bursts from long distances with any regularity, you're doing far more for your flying skill in PvP than a lot of other "training" methods.

Visit their higher-tier brethren in Dant space for high-maneuverability dogfight training.

Well, fighting T1s with a good L7-8+ weapon is also a good way to learn and hone a snapshot technique:

1. Approach enemy at engagement speed

2. Wait for the lead indicator to show up

3. Whip your craft into a 360 degree yaw to the NW or NE

4. Try to nail the target ship as it comes around in one shot

Actually, from pillaging the t5 ones over Endor, I think they're a little larger than the Actis. Any good t1 spawn should do for this sort of thing so long as you stay at corner speed and get right in there tomix it up with them. Very good for working on those high-deflection snapshots and since you overtake them quickly at corner, those are the only shots you will get. Good for practicing those ugly rolling-scissors fights too...
