ive died about 800 times ect, what not and im using special parts ect, and a heavy xwing...and im not sure how its effected me, how do I how badly my componets are degraded

Unless you had some sort of idea of the max hp of your components pre-decay and the chassis hitpoints pre-decay you will not be able to get an accurate picture.
Take a look at your components in the ship management screen, if you have died a lot, their max hp will be very low, your chassis hitpoints is also displayed here. Every time you repair a component or your chassis after a lot of damage, the max hp for that component will be reduced (similar to using a repairr kit on a piece of armour).
