I've been using a heavy TIE for quite some time now and to be honest its a great machine. I've been able to keep it updated with some very nice components that would never fit in another chassis. I'm currently 3322 and once I get passed thetraining mission I'm stuck on (see other thread...sigh) I should be into tier 4 in no time. What chassis should I look into after the heavy TIE? I've obviously read alot about the RGI and assume thats something to shoot for once I'm 4444? What about the other TIE's? There are alot of models between tier 3 and 5. I'd much rather stay with a TIE just for the imperial feel. So basically besides the heavy TIE and the RGI...what other TIE's are worthwhile?

Tie Interceptor 50K mass
Tie Advanced. 65K mass
Tie Aggressor 120K mass (if you want to drag a ground pounder up (barf bag not included))
Tie Oppressor 170K mass

Remember mass is just a minor annoyance. Spend time to learn how to properly kit out a 50K .. or 65K mass chassis, and i garuntee you'll be a better pilot for it in the long run.

This is a problem with the heavy tie. It spoils you from the start, and you really dont learn anything from it.
