Thread: new to imp pilot, which squadron to choose?

just started up an alt and wanted to play with a TIE fighter. I know one of the imperial squadrons is a real PITA. ... storm squadron? Ok any other suggestions for an easier imp squadron?

If you start anywhere but bestine you should be fine.

Yeah, either of the others will do for those that can't hack Storm Squad

Heh, all razzing aside, Storm will make you a better pilot. If you do it primarily solo and dont rely on an Ace to help for every mission. My skill increased tremendously during tier 3 of Storm when I had to learn to shoot A-wings effeciently.

personally looking forward to doing storm on pilot slowly doing all but for a newer pilot I'd suggest inquisition(start in guild hall near keren SP)

I woudlnt advise storm as a first pilot professin.

2nd or 3rd maybe, but not as the first.

It's my second... this is an alt. main is ace freelance. just wanted to work up imperial for once to play with the ships. Don't really need the "pilot experience" since I managed to master freelance completely solo with a broken (barely pitch/yaw/roll down/right) flight stick. Just got a new one now =)

well inquisition would be your easy street to imperial ships.

storm squad is the tough as nails fighter pilot squadron though. and it really helped me take down nova's and gunboats going through storm squad.


but yeah, inquisition is supposed to be a walk in the park from all i've heard (and seen helping not so good imp pilots through it)
