Thread: vaskai corvette escort

i am on the vaskai ship mission, and i have no problem with anything besides the end of the escort. it is easy disabling it and all but about when the fourth wave appears the corvette hyperdrives out like i am supposed to win, but the mission log sais i failed. the corv doesnt die it just hypers away. i dont die and i dont hyper away. after the corv leaves everything attacks me and i either die or come close. i have done this 3 times and the same thing. i am wondering if i am too far away from the space station when the mission starts or something. please respond, i need help.

Not sure, I've done it two times with a couple friends last weekend, without problems.
Could you give some more detail on what you're actually doing during this mission?

well this last time i saw it hyper 500 m then blow up...but i still have a problem cuz it was shown at 100 shiels, 100 armor, 83 systems, 100 chassis. i get to the part with the gunboat then shortly after i saw it hyper 500m then blow up. i was probably about to win lol.

How far from the Corvette were you when it decided to hyper?
If you are too far away it may be failing you for that reason.
