Thread: Tractor Beam Won't Turn Off

This may be a known issue with some of you but it's new to me. I have looked around but I don't see any discussion of this.


I put a tractor beam in my Y8's front turret and let my buddy sit up there collecting chuncks while I mined. Well, the dang beam won't turn off. When he leaves his turret it turns off FOR HIM in his client. But, not for me. Until I go up there and fire it. Then it turns of FOR ME in my client but not for him in his. And 'round and 'round we go.


Anyone have any dealings with tractor beams that won't turn off?


Note: This was the quest tractor beam. I have put in an order with my resident SW to build me a crafted one and I will try this one out tonight also.

Not sure about the Y-8 since I know there were a couple of things bugged, and I do remember that there was something about the tractor beam....



.....I'm sure it's not as simple as looking on keymap, and knowing that you need to turn it off after turning it on....
