Dynamic objectives/resultant rewards for duty missions...

Thus, if you complete a duty mission within a certain set of parameters (say, an entire wing within ~45-50 minutes), you receive a dynamic loot (make the pool random, of course - give you as much of a chance at getting an engine than an armor plate) from the current pool with dynamic stats, where one is GUARANTEED to be a certain percentage better than a typical loot.

Additionally, these dynamic loots should be tier-specific. Run a T3 duty, your "reward" will be L5-L6. Run a T4, get an L7-L8. The new T5s, get a 9-10 (gotta have SOME incentive to dance with gunboats).

For instance, let's say you get lucky and get an L8 weapon as your "mystery" loot. Don't make it a whole new "brand," merely tie it to the current loot structure, so there's no chance of someone looting a Borstel.

I'd fathom the average weight of these things hovers somewhere around 30k, with effs around .62x and drains right around 2000.

Taking that magic number, you use the slicing system percentage and automatically deduct or add, depending on the beneficial direction, and come out with a part that is 15-35% better than the average part looted on a regular basis. Call it the Yogi part or something, and make the text for it yellow.

Also, ask the Devs if they can set into the game the ability to "earmark" specific pieces of loot where the chassis dealer will give you another set of dialog before you can sell him a specific "exceptional" part, something to the tune of:

"Whoa...hey...wait a minute. I'm all for scamming suckers, but are you absolutely SURE you wanna sell me this?" Then give the normal Yes/No/Stop Conversing.

Bump - I see today seems to be a "loot a disproportionate amount of armor and boosters to other types of loot" day.

Numbers are always up for debate, but I like the general idea. It would add a new dimension to "duty" missions that are perhaps too aptly named.

Oh yeah, forgot to add - the Yogi part should only be exceptional on ONE stat over the others. No sense in making a piece that's even better than the rewards standalone.
