MY YT-1300 accelarates really slow and takes forever to turn, is it suppose to fly this way?

Try boosting for quick acceleration to full speed+ and decelerating to turn. It's a big and bulky ship, so it's turning sweet spot will be at slower speeds.

There is a pattern. The 'smallest' ships accelerate and decelerate very, very quickly. As you add more mass to a ship, changing speed seems to take longer and longer. Compare an A-Wing to a B, Duneliz to a Krayt, or TIE Int to an Opp. The big POB ships are so far at the end of the scale that they take a very long time to change speeds, short of using your Booster to speed up and ramming immovable objects to slow down. It can be a bit hard to get reliable results either way, though using your Booster is the accepted method of getting to full speed.
