Nothing happens, I speak from experience. Not an error on my part or bad info, I was just waiting for guildmates before I did my Ace mission.

Yes, I know that you do not need it. I was just curious if it were possible to bypass the Vette altogether if you did get the experience. It really makes no sense to me to have that experience counter there to begin with, though. Not that I am complaining, but it really seems pointless then to even have it.

Yeah, you could a special reward. It's a shirt that says "I earned 7.5 million xp for Master Pilot, and all I got was this lousy t-shirt!"

Simple, the system expects a number there. If it was 0, people would be complaining about having to do missions for ace. Put in 2.5 million, and many more people complain about having to do missions. 7.5 million, and people come here to complain in advance and then hear the delightful news that there's no need to grind it.
On my last2 masteries, the tier 4 mission, 30 fighters and corvette already generated 2.5 to 4 million xp anyway (4x master bonus). So even the 7.5 doesn't mean that much.

It does absolutly nothing.
You can't bypass the vette. I filled the box when I was helping a few people on their missions - the 3x ace bonus really kicked in there lol.
Why is there an xp amount in the box? Well, why does each Tier3 box say you need 200k xp, when they're all story driven?

Cool, I think everyone answer my question. I was just curious because of everyone I asked, no one had a single clue.
Looks like I will have to hit the Vette, after I finish one more mission for the Inquisitor...

I currently have 6.7 million points, and am quickly closing the gap between that and the 7.5 million.I know that you do not need all of that to master pilot, but I am just curious as to if you can master it without killing the Vette and so on. I mean, that 7.5 million has to be for some thing, right? Why not reward the fools that grind that freaking much lol!
