Pilot Archive
Thread: I hope somebody got an answer to this question....
When you leave a pilot profession no matter where you are in the skill tree, everything is lost.
(btw you don't need the exp to make master, just the vette)
If you have an inspiration buff up when you drop you'll also get negative exp. This is because when you drop it removes all your exp and if you have an inspiration buff up it will remove 110% of your exp.
All of your space missions will also get reset.
The new wookie world missions will get bugged, the space parts will reset, the ground parts will not. preventing you from generating any of your quest reward ships if you re-deed'd them, and preventing you from redoing the missions for them.
Bottom line no matter how you do it you will have to start from 0 exp .... unless you had a buff up and go negative exp.
Once you drop your pilot trees, all the exp disappears with it. So no, you cannot keep all your exp and just go up the trees faster later... However, what you can do is collect your imp mastery, and the next time you start to grind another pilot tree, you will get 2x exp bonus. That means you would have to kill half as many fighters in order to get the exp you need.
