Hey all.
I recentally (finally!) mastered Freelance and got myself a YT-1300. I'm mostly going to use it for travels and group outtings so I'm looking to decorate it... besides the vet reward seats and consoles, any suggestions for parts/components and so forth that might make the thing look good for furnishings? and not like paintings or rugs or anything like that-- stuff like consoles, cratse, specific types of chairs & tables, etc etc. stuff to make it look like a decent tramp freighter that hauls cargo for a living

naaaah put a lot of weapons in it. spend like 5000 creds and buy a hundred CDEF rifles.
they sure are crappy, but hung up together...all 100 of them. it looks imposing.

Find an Archi on your server who has a thing for Interior Design and take him/her up to see the space you are working with. Describe to him/her the kind of 'feel' you are going for, and see what s/he says.
Besides the reward furniture, consoles, and such, don't forget the amazing array of items that can be used for decorative purposes -- Kashyyyk ground loot and rewards, ship components, hides, and much more.

my tip would be to keep it looking lived in, like the falcon - small items like a looted books on tables, the furniture at an almost imperfect angle etc etc. Also, in what i like to call the engine room you can make up cool consoles, for instance ive used a tech console and the yt-1300 hologram to make it look like a systems control station for the droids in that area. Droids are also good to have - turn them against the wall to make them look like they are repairing systems etc. Beds are often forgotten aswell, along with the lounge area on my ship i have 2 single beds with all the trimmings to make it look like a mini medical center.
