If i remember corectly if I drop being an RSF Pilot (imperial aligned) and go train for Corsec (True Neutral) I get double XP cuz I already mastered pilot right?

Now with double XP comeing does that mean i could possibly get 4x XP. if so i think a change in neutral factions is in order.

Yep. The grind will be really quick.

Really makes no difference. Usually capped out when it's time to train. Guess it would make that time between tiers where you have no missions to run faster.

when they double the xps it only applies to the base xp, not the master bonus.

Killjoy. Does it matter if i don't have the badge yet cuz it wasn't awarded when he trained me?

So there's no benefit to doing a Pilot grind during a Double XP session if you've already mastered once?

Of course there's a benefit. You'll get x2 xp, plus and mastery bonus. In this case x3 normal (not x4 like the poster asked).

Yes it does matter if your badge has not been awarded. You will not get a mastery bonus without a badge, and it's a royal pain to get a CSR to give you a badge if you're not Ace at the time (it's not that easy even if you're and Ace at the time, but its impossible when you're not)

I'm in the middle of this right now. 2 CSR's in chat assured me i would get the imp badge that i sould have enven though i dropped imp pilot already. Unofortunatly my first ticket was closed. I do have the bio-linked medal of honor though, that should be proof right there.

*snicker*

I have Base+3x XP from mastering one of each faction currently. So theoretically I will get 5x XP. Not that it matters 3x and 4x XP were already really enough to make grinding obsolete, and make it all about the mission chokepoints.

Just so you know, even though RSF is more Imperial alligned, it is still considered Freelance and neutral, so if you are an Ace RSF and CorSec pilot, you will still only have the Freelance Mastery bonus, and if you change pilot professions again, you will still only get double xp for the bonus.
