Thread: Privateer Trying to Declare at Factional Space Stations

Search is not working, and I'm not sure if this is explicitly explained anywhere.

The FAQ v 3.0 states that a privateer can declare at either an Alliance or an Imperial Space Station, and go to Kessel. Am I missing something, because they both tell me to sign up and we can talk.

SA, 3333. Do I need to be Master first? Very confused...

Thanks for any help.

no you must go to a recruiter on the ground and declare there first. Then you can declare in space to get fp.

Ah, ok. Is that a mistake in the FAQ then? It states that a neutral can decalre in space as either.

Thanks for the quick response.

no not a mistake but a missed step if you will. You have to have to be rebel or imp on the ground before you can farm faction points in space. threw me off the first time myself.

edit: np for the fast response you caught me trolling for new info.
