That appears to be a mission further down the road. I'm only 1-1-1-1 pilot.
The mission I'm having trouble with is the first one from Talon Karrde.

Any one have recommendations?

It doesn't really answer the original question anyway.

Ok, I figured it out. I was travelling to theLok systemin my Luxury Yacht and I wouldn't get a waypoint. I hyperspaced there in my Dunelizard at got the wp immediately. So you have to travel there in a weapon equiped ship.

Yep, yesterday I was on my way to the Lok system on my armed ship, when the wp poped-up to revenge someone's destruction.

I presume, from the original phrases of this Talon's Quest :"Meeting Nym's man and deliver something to a npc named Shandom at Lucky Despot, Tatooine" that this Nym's man was destroyed in space before we arrived there, and the mission turns to a simple Revenge mission.

When I landed on Nym's Stronghold there was no wp to follow either, which helps me to reache this conclusion.

Exactly. u have to meet Shandom in the Lucky Despot - take the lift down. she will give u duty missions to get XP and an obligatory mission after each skill trained.

u can take a look in your quest log. usualy u see there what is expected next (rendevous, dock, destroy etc.) or if the quest is finished.

I did this mission this morning.

Took off to the Lok system , did some dancing with Coronet Sec (didn't even land on Lok) got mission succesful

Flew back to Mos Eisley , went to the Lucky Despot looking for this Shandom type and I can't find him.

Were can I find this guy/woman ??

Already tried to take the elevator down but got message "tour are already at the lowest level"

Can't go up with the elevator to (already tried that to)
