Currently I am 3/3/2/2 Freelance and I have enough xp to train in another box. However, Im stuck on the Jabba mission where you have to deliver "gifts" to the Imperials. Everyone who did it knows you get swarmed by Tier 3 and 4 pirate ships. I managed to complete the first 2 waypoints, but the 3rd was just ridiculous. I fought through 4 waves and another came in on top of that. I had 7 enemy ships after me. Added to the first 2 points those ships easily added to about 55 -60 ships. Needless to say I jumped out before I was destroyed, then I got the mission failed. Is there some trick to this mission, or is it just insanely hard. And do the waves of ships ever stop? Just frustratingly curious. Thanks.

Try shooting to disable instead of shooting to destroy - it takes less time, and once the ships are disabled, move on to another.

This is even easier if you don't shoot at all...

hint 1 : the more you destroy, the more will spawn

hint 2 : hyperspace jump into the same system does not fail a mission

Hint 4: find an Ace MSW who knows his stuff, and get your ship optimized with crafted and RE'd equipment!

Freelancers have ooooodles of room for the best of the best.

I finished this one las' night. happened to loot some nicer shielding, so I downgraded one of my guns to get it to fit. Approaching the Lamda, I disabled a few targets, let my cap recharge, and docked, shunting to shields as needed when I took hits. As with many missions, you don't have to kill them all, just survive it.
