I was just wondering if this isa problem on other servers. I've play on Tempest since it went live. When JTL came out obviously there were a ton of people flying. Now it seems that most people have "been there, done that" at this point and there are very few pilots and very few SW. It is almost impossible to to find parts and with the loot drop rate being lower than at launch of JTL it is hard to get good loot.

The drop rates are fine, its just that the normal shedding in the shipwright market (losing a lot of early adopters) has led to it being harder to find working SWs. The biggest loss is that most of the parts go into the bottomless pit of the chassis broker. Good parts from players who dont know better, reward parts from players who dont pay attention, even decent filler parts, it all goes, every day. A lot of people who have gotten Ace feel the "been there done that" bug, but they lack the persistence to stick with it and find their fun in space. I get endless enjoyment now teaching people, starting anew with a fresh pilot is good too. Lots to do, just not enough people dedicated to finding it I guess.

Here on Eclipse you'd have an easier time finding a full suit of Mando armor than to find more than 3 Aces to help you in anything you do in space.... so I can't tell you if there aren't that many, or they are all hiding.
Oh and about the loot... ditto, same here.

We have 3 Aces in our guild... I also fly with another guild which has 3 Aces. We are training up about 8 more pilots too. Flurry is going pretty well.

On Corbantis my guild alone has about 7 or 8 aces and the same amount if not more very close to ace.. as far as SW's that i cant say since i am one.. all i know is that my Shipwright / Droid Engineer vendor shop is still making quite a profit..

Scylla has a fair amount of pilots, many dont fly as regularly as I do though. My guild has like 62 members total and there are at least 9 of us that mastered pilot in the first month of JTL and we have gotten 15 or so to that point since then. I am the only one with 2 pilot masteries. I know several guys that simply prefer the ground to space and are in no hurry to master pilot, and some that because there is "no content" for masters dont fly often.
I say phooey!!
MAKE YOUR OWN CONTENT. this is an RPG after all, all we need is to get some RP going and do some massive PvP. You have to make opposite faction "friends" so that you can coordinate events in space and on the ground. I know we have all forgotten the epic ground battles we used to have, before jedi were promnent in the game and combat became super unbalanced. Well, there is no imbalance in space. If you want to have fun, be proactive and make the game fun. Get a group of rebels and group of imperials to meet in DS for massive pvp. say Saturday at 2pm EST (thats about when my friends list starts hopping). Make games out of it, like defend the ISD from rebel attack or vice versa. I have been trying to organize this on Scylla, and have not had time in RL to be as dedicated to it as I want to be. The first and only time I did it we had about 10 people show up. The next times it happens, more people can say "yeah we had a 5on 5 battle and it was sweet, sweeter if we had more pilots per side".
Help your selves and help your friends, organize

Hey I am on Scllya aswell. the half dozen times I have been in DS I have yet to see the oposing faction player. Been looking but not seen yet. Put me on your friends list so that the next time you do a big battle I might be able to make it.

You might just not be in on the circles of pilots on Eclipse.
A good place to start would be Supremus, who runs corvette attacks whenever someone needs it.
Get into one of those attack groups, and put the rest of the people in the group on your friend list.
Friend list is invaluable as far as finding pilots.

I'm sure there are a lot of Aces on each server. Just doesn't seem to be that many people actually flying.
In my guild of about 50 there are 3 of us flying. One or two moremight begetting interested in it again as we have been putting some RP flare about missions etc in guild chat.

I'm also on Tempest and I can say that I *might* see one other player in space if I spend an hour or two flying. Usually they're in their Sorosub... Granted I haven't made it to deep space, but I'm not holding my breath.
Even worse is trying to find someone to program some of the imperial chips for me. I spent two hours spamming in coronet trying to getone of each. And once I master I'll need more to put into my. lv 6 astromech.
