Thread: Linking weapons to be forward fired by the pilot in multiplayer ships

did anything ever come of this? i heard something about it a couple of months ago but either i cant figure out how to do it or it isnt possible yet.. i would absolutely love to be able to fly my YT with just a co-pilot and still have use of my guns... now im not expecting to go dogfighting with a ship that big, but it would be nice to use against capital ships. i just love this ship but it hardly ever gets used becuase its tough to get a group of 4-5 people in space together.. let alone in one ship...

- go out and buy 2 additional computers and additional copys of Galaxies and JTL.
- make a macro that will fire the guns constantly and a second to stop them on both of the alts. make sure both comp's keyboards are within reach.
- load up into space with both your alt characters and put them the gun turrets.
- when you get into a fight just hit the macro key on the extra keyboards to start or stop them from firing.
Viola! You can now use your Multi Person ship by yourself. 
If anybody really trys this i going to feel so bad.

and viola - you have half the firepower of a krayt combined with twice the hitbox and worse handling.
i think the MULTI in multiplayer ship has a meaning

You thought of that too, eh? You made it overly difficult as far as usage by leaving out the part of combining the wiring of 3 joysticks together; from the 2 other computers' joysticksinto the flight joystick, so that when you pull the trigger on it, the others fire, hehehe.

Well not realy. My way is the cheap no work lazy approch. Also I dont know how well i could get 3 controlers spiced together.

well, got to be cheaper and easier than getting the other 2 computers that can run the game relaibly, hehehe.
