So, I'm using a Y-Wing... have 2 weapons loaded, but when I fire, it looks like only one is firing. I know the longprobe might require a second person to fire the turret, but I'm not in the longprobe.

Maybe I just need to find info on weapon grouping? Actually, I know I do, because I have no idea how to group weapons, and can't find anything in the JTL manual that came with the game (or in the holo-useless-cron).

It's the reverse, actually.. the standard Y-Wing has one pilot-controlled gun and one turret you'd need another player to man. The Longprobe's the one with two pilot-controlled weapons.

as for weapon groups

when in space, hit 'g' that brings up your weapon groups

select group one on the far left column

double click each weapon in the middle column you want in group1, it now appears in the right column

repeat for group2, 3.etc.

note: you must have the weapon group mapped to a key on your keyboard or joystick to be able to fire.

also, you will not be able to group missiles and guns into the same group
