Thread: POB mining

I know its prob not the most effective way to mine but i was wondering if it even worked, as i went up and tried every asteroid in 2 systems, no chunks came off at all, i checked i hadnt gone insane and yes i was using my mark 2 mining laser and yes i had a large ship cargo hold, was just wondering if anyone else has had problems using POB ships to mine

I think someone has to be sitting in the pilot's seat for the mining laser to work.

well that sucks, so much for solo mining with decent sized cargo hold, damn you SOE lol...i mean lets face who in their right mind would want to help you mine

My wife helps me mine. Sadly, POB ships really aren't good for it to begin with. Yeah, the huge cargo hold is nice, but we'll both fill our 1.5k holds in our starfighters much faster than the 3k hold in my Decemator.

guess its time to get a couple of mark 3 mining lasers and mine like crazy, one mark 2 is just crappy
