Thread: Alternative modes of play?

All things considered (ROTW imbalances, exploits, bad atttiudes, bugs, lack of misc content), im getting just a wee bit burnt out, and a whole lot of grumpy.(infact im getting downright Irrate these days) I think its time i took a long break from anything even remotely compedative in space and just did something else.
But ahh, what else is there to do?
- Mining i suppose. Ive always wanted to get a monopoly on that and perfect some technique for maximum effiencey (if thats even possible). But it would require a group i think.
- Theres always helping new folks with missions, but 90% of the time its a "DoItforme". id rather teach/train so they can do it without my help.
- Teach train newer pilots all the stupid little bits of useless knowledge ive accumulated. Problem is no one seems to be intrested (see "doitforme"). Honestly though, afte re explaining something for the umpteenth time, i think ill end up lacking the patience.
- Farm parts, see duty missions. ( happy happy Joy joy)
- POB ship runs? Not sure how to work this out. Problem is the only ppl I can usually find to crew a POB only wants me to powerlevel their xp, and subsequenly avoid any stick time in their own ship. I just object to this for some silly reason.
Maybe id have more fun if i wasnt flying by myself 99% of the time. Problem is, the only wingman i can usually find is another "doitforme", and that just aint any fun.
Oh, and If anyone mentions doing another pilot track, im going to have an epiliptic fit and go into full body convulsion. 14 times is enough.

I'd be more than happy to fly with you from time to time. Just not on my missions, if that's OK. I'm kind of digging the whole "soloing each squadron" thing. Although you're the first person on my call list if my third Tier 3 is still out of my range. I figure that you'd probably tell me what I am doing wrong before even trying to fire a shot, so if I ask you for help I still have a chance of soloing everything. But seriously, if I'm online and not flying for myself, I'd love to hang out with you.

I agree with the last poster Ducimus. I'm not a Master Pilot, but I'd love to hang sometime. I'm working on a few things, but nore are imperitive right now. I need help on a few things, but I want advice, not someone to "doitforme". I'm the 'doitformyself" type. LOL
I'd love to elarn how to Mine in Space, etc. Be glad to be your wingman sometime. Guard your flank while you mine, whatever.
I'm also on Bria, add me to your frinds and sent me a /tell sometime. I play Monday thru Friday, daytime hours Eastern time.
