I just bought a deed for a Heavy TIE chassis. My skill in Imp pilot is 2-2-2-2. But when I try to generate the ship I can't get an option to generate ship, just examine, drop and destroy. All my other chassis deed give me the generate option, even ones that I'm not certed to fly. Is this a known problem with the Heavy TIE and what do I need to do to fix it? I paid just over 500k for it and can't really afford to dish out that kind of cash for something that doesn't work.

go to a shipwright NPC, choose buy chassis...

Not the shipwright trainer, but on the right track.

When you buy a blueprint from a Shipwright, you need to take the blueprint to the Chassis Dealer. He's in every starport. You pay him some money and he turns the blueprints into a deed to generate.

Go forth, find the NPC Chassis Dealer!

anyways, the tie heavy chassis is fairly cheap to get deeded... i think it's like 5k....
