Thread: A thought from an old Pilot.....Personal hangers?

What if we had a function that enabled us to change components in our ships from the comfort of our own homes? Like a Garage/Hanger?


We could possiblypurchase a console and drop it in our house and it would enable us to change out ships parts using the parts that are stored in our houses.




Does anyone else out there have houses packed with ship loot?






Call me crazy, butI have TONS of components stored in my houses. I even have some parts stored in other people's houses....

THAT would be nice they may do this for sw they said so they could see what fits you may want to read up on this in the sw forums. Were you could load parts for a custermers speacle order but you cannot load parts for real just simulate .THEy als had the idea for hangers ,

But yeah, a Hanger you could dropwould be excellent.

Since I have a few houses packed with space parts, I would love if the storage capacity of thehanger was larger than your normal large size house...

Agree! I would even settle for being able to access parts stored in my safety deposit from a ship terminal in a starport. You would have to be on the planet of your bank, but that would definatly help.

With the new pack&go housing, a few of us are hoping to just be able to roll out the ships as placeables themselves. Even the fighters would be nice just to get local access to parts.

All I want is to be able to place a Hanger go into the managment terminal load a ship into it and have a 1/1 model of my starfighter sitting there.

Is that too much to ask?

Hehe, as stated earlier, they are considering that very thing for Shipwrights


It was suggested to make it a city placeable (by a SW)only thing, but me no likee that idea.

God that'd be great.

Something nice to spend some of my Prestige on.



If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

Link please, even if it is a "Shipwright tent" deal I would like to see it... I want a screenshot standing next to an x-wing.

P.S.

I don't need it to do anything other than store enough items to replace a comparable house... maybe allow me to repair the loaded ship... that is it.

It'd be a good idea to have something like that where you could park your ship and have (let's say 1000) storage with the exception that it can only be ship components and repair kits and stuff like that. I've got 4 medium houses for sorting ship loot, i'd like a nice centalized version of that w/ all my parts neatly sorted and whatnot
