I got a choice right now. Either get the Vaskai and fly it, or get the Heavy X-wing for my Alt.
Pros?
Con?
Arguments?
Advice?

get both, freelancers can get their ground faction ship and the freelance one unless it got changed recently

Can the Heavy X be traded? I don't think I've ever seen one for sale. Though, you can do both, as the mission branch goes to two different NPCs, and doing one does not block the path to the other. But, if you are going to get them both, do it before you switch Pilot Trees 
, That will not only cut the branch off to the other it will cut down the whole darn tree, bring in a root grinder, then strip the top soil and set up a Strip Mine. Until they Fix the looping, those are the only two Heavies you will ever get on this char.

Going here gives you most of the stats and information you needs about the quest ships, as well as other ships.

Vaksais are ugly. Advanced X-wings are teh hawtn3ss. You know what you must do.
(Actually, you can get both. No reason not to. And yes, you can trade the ships. Treena is flying her wife's RGI, since I was waiting for the badge fix to go in, and now I'm just too busy flying on my alt.)

They can be traded...but no rebel in their right mind would swap a heavy X-wing since they're so rare and currently only attainable once doing it the mission way. Same with the other two ships.

Actually I have two Advanced X-wing deeds and have tried to trade one of them for a RGI Tie for several weeks now and have gotten no takers. BTW I love the X-wing. The massive firepower makes those component grinding missions much easier on my sanity. LOL. Seriously it depends on what you want out of a ship. The Vaksai has it's role as does the X.

Yeah that part sucks. Wasn't there a mission after you were awarded the Heavy X-wing from the rebel station? I never did it if there was one, so i'll never know what i missed out on
