Okay, here's the deal. Got a mail about someone setting up a pilot competition on Valcyn and one of the rules is no ROTW craft, including the heavy tie.

Now I'll admit that I've fallen prey to the Jedi Starfighter and all it's evilness. So question I have is in a straight on dog fight should I go opressor for the added protection and such or the advanced for the handling? I haven't pvp'ed really at all in space so not sure just how hard the player crafts hit as a rule. I'm thinking the extra protection might not do me much good if I can't get a good shot off but wanted some input before I picked up the advanced and started pulling my hair out trying to get things to fit on it. lol

the extra mass on the t/o isnt much of an advantage, its the three missile racks that make it a terror in pvp.

i prefer the t/a myself, its an awesome ship.

speaking of the tourney, i made a toon on there the other day and plan on entering it. i just need to get myself a decent engine and ill be set.
