I'm currently working on the 3rd tier 3 mission for Jabba. It's the one where you have to deliver goods to an Imp shuttle. En route you are attacked by what seems like and endless wave of Death Watch. I was with a wing man and we eventually decided that he would hold them off since he is an 'ace and I would proceed to the waypoint and meet the shuttle. I meet the shuttle and docked with it and it said operation complete with nothing to indictate a mission success. The shuttle just sat there motionless and the enemies kept coming, eventually coming to my position since I was the one doing the docking. They eventually blew me up.

What went wrong? Do I do something other than dock with it? Or do you have to duke it out and destroy all the enemy waves?

And sorry for the extra partial posts. Something went screwy with the computer.

I don't remember that one being especially hard, but some of the missions require that you disable the ship engines. Then someone commandeers the rig and flys off with it whileyou escort it.

Good luck.

Nah, that was another mission. I'm supposed to "deliver" something to these Imperials I was meeting. Launch codes or something.

I got through that by hyperspacing to a point closer to the next target when the bad guys turn up, otherwise I just got overwhelmed. I think it's limited to 2 waves at any one time, so wait for the second wave and then hyperspace for a much smoother (and quicker) ride.

You should just be able to fly by the fighters, especially if you have a good engine (and possibly an overload chip). I just finished the tier 3 missions so it is fresh in my mind.

You have to dock with 3 shuttles, after the first dock is finished you should get a new waypoint to the second one (mine were relatively close to each other, so maybe you missed the new waypoint and thought it was pointing to the old one). After that you have to do some battle.

The trick I used was to have a good shield and overload my capacitor, that allowed me to ignore the waves while I was docking with the first two ships. If my shields got low I just shunted the power. I was a little overwhelmed on the third ship so I used the iff scramble and was able to dock and jet away to the battle before they knew what was happening.

Evilmonkey has it right, I had the same thing happen with the second and third wp's being very close to each other, and I thought for a few minutes that something was borked. Having your capacitor overcharged and using shunt 3 or 4 can keep you alive and if things get really hairy, there is always IFF or Epulse
