I recently started teir 3 missions on the Sunrunner server and the second guyI had to do missions for gave me a mission. Ok, no problem. NOT!!! I more or less got my rear end handed to me. So thinking I would take advantage of guildies with exp. as pilots, I got some help. 2 of us working on teir 3 and 1 thats an ace pilot. Still granted we got alot farther in the mission but in the end the mission failed. I believe my missions are for Storm Squadron. With all that said, is there anyone who may have either or advice or can help me with this??? Thank you.

If you are not flying against rebels, I can help you. If you are, sorry... But, make sure you read what the mission says to do. I helped a guildie last night and we got wave after wave of tier 4 TIEs (I seriously must have killed at least 50.) and all because he had not read that his next step was to hyper to another system lol. So, make sure you know what you are supposed to do... Also, in a situation of you versus a ton of ships, disable them rather than killing them. That is a quicker and easier way. There are some cheap ways to help out like leaving 1 ship from each wave with like 5% engine. They only send in 2 waves at a time so, if you leave one ship from each NEARLY disabled it will slow down the spawns by a lot. But, like I said that is cheap and I do not do it that way. Also, make sure you are taking advantage of droid programs. They can make even a mediocre loadout seem really good. Make sure that you are running the best possible components in your ship. (Like a good reverse engineered level 5 gun in your Interceptor, or at lower levels sometimes crafted blasters are better.) With one gun, I think an even distribution of vsA and vsS is better. Don't waste precious mass on huge reactors and heavy capacitors. Always go for best stats with lowest mass. I still use an REd level 2 capacitor in my ship, and I am running 3 guns. Good luck...

As far as tips go I would remind you that some of these tier 3 missions are timed. Meaning you have to destroy all the ship and complete the mission objectives within a certain amount of time otherwise you will fail you're mission. I finished a tier 3 mission last night and finally got my tie bomber so i can now dish out a lot of damage.
