Assuming you're talking about a ship's maximum number of hitpoints decreasing (commonly called decay), no. That hitpoints will never decrease past 10, but it will go to that point. If you're not comfortable flying like that, get yourself a new chassis from a shipwright.

Not true, your hit points will progress to zero and you can't use the ship anymore. I lost my ARC-170 this evening.
Yeah, I am not a happy camper right now.

Yeah, I am not a happy camper right now.
Anyone else confirm this? The pilot community has been operating as a whole on the assumption that HP don't drop below 10.

His hit points went to 0...not the max hit points...apparently he hasn't discovered the use of station repairs in general.

I'm running a test atm on an old Z-95, but it takes a lot of dying to get down to 10 (or 0) so I'm doing it in sections.

Hmmm...if I were up to it, I'd go do some tests on an ARC-170 myself. I've got several due to the quest bug that results from dropping pilot.
