i was doing great and enjoying pilot until i had to go to dathomir and capture the shuttle. i capture it fine, meet up with the second shuttle fine, then they send me to some blastboat where i face endless waves of tie's that come twice as fast as i can kill them and never stop coming.... how do you beat this part of the quest without getting blown to peices?

Bring a wingman.
Watch your objectives carefully. You probably don't have to blow up all the TIEs. If you can, outrun them instead. I believe your objective at that point is to dock with the gunboat, not destroy the TIEs. If you're having trouble handling a mission, recheck to see exactly what you're supposed to be doing.

That's a hard one. I remember it well. I had a few wingmen to keep the Ties busy while I work on the shuttle. But you could do it solo. I would recommend disabling the shuttle, then taking out some ties, then when you get a break between waves, dock.
Just a matter of timing. And make sure you have the right programs in your droid. Reactor Overload, Capacitor Overload are a must!

Ive had the same problem doing imp missions, with endless waves of x wings. a nice little solution i found is to disable the x wings, not destroy them, that way you can dock with the shuttle, and the ties will just be floating in space and the waves stop coming.
