I'm thinking of setting up a vendor for this sort of thing, but never know what to charge. I tend to go by the post to the Eclipse board (in somebody's .sig, I've bookmarked it) for what IS good and great, but what sort of prices would you expect to pay for things generally? I'm just looking for ballpark for "Fair pre-RE part", "Good pre-RE part", "Spectacular pre-RE part" to know that I'm at least in the right order of magnitude for parts...

Well, for Spectactular I'd go over a million(26k or less mass L8 for example, or 95+ speed L10 engine, or 1700 CE L10 capacitor, 13k mass L10 armor).

Good I'd go between 100k and 1 million(L10 engines between 90 and 95 speed, L8 reactor with less than 24k mass, L6 engine with less than 9.6k mass).

Fair, it depends on how that's defined; it might be the level I sell to the chassis dealer.

Advice:

-Be able to recognize the gems from the fillers. Use the RE Chart and spaceloot.com. Never let one stat elude your eye.

Oh, you mean like some L8 shields I have? One's 21xx drain (I thought it fell into "good") another's 16xx (JUST a bit better...)

So, I sell most of my RE gear worth selling. All post RE, and I sell it for chassis dealer prices. Ie: cert 5 shield 25k (5 itemsx 5k chassis dealer)

Cert 2 Capacitors that are decent, 35-50k, and a few other pieces that come out particularly well, I charge more for too.

For the most part, my RE jobs get named junk and dropped off at the nearest chassis dealer. I keep the good stuff around and build out ships with it for friends and guildies.

Fornon-RE Loot...I only pay big bucks because I only really look for super pieces, the filler is so easy to come by.
