Thread: Trouble declaring faction as a Freelance

Hi All,
I just remastered as Freelance Cor-Sec. I need to build Imperial Faction Points. I have not been able to declare at any Imperial Station. They all say "Join the Empire, then we'll talk" or something close to that. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug? Thanks in advance for any thoughts or help.

To declare in space. You have to be one of the factions on the ground.
Ground imperial to be able to declare imperial in space.
Ground rebel to be able to declare rebel in space.

Bummer!
I was hoping to get enough faction in space to join the Empire... I had a mispent youth and the empire is not at all impressed with my record. Guess I'll have to visit the back alleys of Mos Eisley and do it the expensive way...
