Looted a bortal gun tonight from Deathwatch ships in Endor space.Am i lucky or has anyone else

looted said gun . Is looted gun of same quality as one granted from pilot training?

I have 4 borstal guns that I have LOOTED. They range from level 6-9, and no, they are not as good as the reward gun. Each time I looted one, I checked my inventory in hopes of getting some uber loot like the reward gun, and each time I was sadly disappointed. I am keeping them for the name, as I can RE them later and sell them on a vendor at a large profit.

The name (nike, sony, etc.) sells the product!

I looted a level 8 borstel disruptor

I did have it in my Krayt but but it meant I didnt have enough mass spare for a turret cannon so I opted for 4x crafted Advanced Blasters.. those together had less mass than my loot guns with the disruptor, marginly less min damage and higher max damage on 3 guns only MUCH higher damage if I have a gunner on board.

My borstel canon now sits proudly atop my YT1300

i have 2 of the borsteel rewards in my krayt, combine that with a level 10 with 4.5k damage and another level 8 in the turret, and that makes a deadly ship
