So I finally made Master Pilot.....I went out and bought my Decimator...parts, etc.....put it all together and launched........

Okay...so maybe it has a little to be desired for what I was looking for. I'm still glad I have it as I've been wanting one for so long, but in the meantime, when I want to fly solo.....

Any comparisons from those who have flown stuff ingame on......

TIE Oppressor vs. Firespray?

For the most part, I've been working with my JSF. I want something that doesn't handle like aDecimator...i.e. boat-ish.

For those who have tried both of these out, how do they handle? Have you used them in PvE only?

Any constructive input is welcome. I'd like to know what folks think before I make another ship purchase and spend a couple hours putting parts together, etc.

Thanks!

the JSF is obviously phenominal..

I also appreciate my Bel which is my mainstream PvE ship... i go Overt and head into Kessel for FP grinding and even if i run into opposing faction, i handle myself ok in this fine ship (providing i see them in time )

Its a great "fighter" class ship

I just barely got my KSE and so i haven't spent the requisite time outfitting it yet so i couldn't tell ya

The Krayt... i have heard is an exceptional craft as well

As for Imp, I hear there is a ship (crimson tie perhaps) that is even SMALLER than the JSF and might be worth taking a look into...

hope that helps!!

Best of Luck!!

The KSE handles very nicely. If I could afford one, I'd probably fly it over the Oppressor since it doesn't have the oversteer problem the Oppressor does, and makes hunting fast and light ships much easier. Great farming ship for Imperials.

To be honest - if I'm farming I like to fly my Actis. It's probably the only time I ever break it out - it just makes a great dogfighter against light NPCs, and when I'm in a hurry (I.E. farming efficiently) it's my ship of choice. I just tuck it away for PvP.

For PvP a Firespray can be very effective - but they make a huge target.

Oppressor for PVE and the occaisonal PVP when forced. TIE Advanced for PVP. Now if they would just resolve the RGI issue my butt would be in that puppy ona daily basis.

Cydarien Outlander Imperial ACE Pilot. Shipwright. Everything else is filler.
Praetor Darkmind Rebel Ace Pilot. Master BH Nothing to hunt..

opp's and heavies FTW

but you might wanna do like i did and use a FS till you have enough RE loot to fit all your crap in your opp

basically RE your guns to under 36k or so and your engine to about 42-44k thenusethe remarkably easy to hit FS as a decoration in the house you store all your good loot in, next to the JSF and RGI

as for the heavyTIE vs the JSF...

hands down the heavy winsbecause 5k mass is a big difference and

IT'S NOT A FREAKIN JSF

bonus points for not being bugged like the RGI

but thats just my personal experience talking
