How to? I've already lowered Nebula Density and Distance Viewing to Lowest...but the goddamn nebulas on Dantooine keep droping me to 8,7 , 11 FPS.
How do I raise it?
(don't even think about saying "buy a better video card" or "more RAM", I've got enought RAM and a pretty good videocard)

Reduce angle of view.
Reduce graphic details to minimum and try bumping it up little by little.
Loading the latest drivers(this is what their tech support will tell ya).
Flying with/with out cockpit.
Turn of vertex/pixel shader(in options on load window)
Turn of any processes running in back ground.
If the above don't work try, sacrificing a llama to the video pixel gods.
Sorry if none of these suggestions help.

Thanks, I'll give it all a try
But I suppose there's no way to completely remove the nebulas from the game? My FPS goes down whenver facing these nebulas directly!

That used to happen to me in dant space too so much so that I refused to go/meet people there. There was a bit in Dath too as well as the wormhole thing in kessel. I cant offer you much advice except that I literally set everything to lowest and it helped a bit. (I drastically upgraded my graphics card 2 months ago and that fixed it completely)
