Thread: Stuck in mouse freelook mode :(

No matter which of the two ALT modes I'm in, all I can do is look around the cockpit, I can't steer my stupid ship. I tried the chase cam option,. but no luck. I even deleted my profiles folder and it made no difference. Does anyone know how to turn off this annoying freelook mouse mode so I can steer my ship again?
Thanks, and I did try to search the forums first, but the search feature is not working at this time

Keyboard/Mouse I assume. If you're using a keyboard but have a joystick, unplug and see if that helps. Otherwise, go into the in-game Options Menu, Controls Tab, and look for 'Starship Piloting Mouse Mode.'

Thanks for the response. I finally found what it was, under options there is a place to set the mouse to "virtual joystick". Once I did this, it went back to normal. I cansteer again hehe...
