Last night I got my Advanced X-Wing and took it out to help a guildie ona mission. We ended up running into a gunboat on the mission and it killed me. After I repaired and landed I checked out my ship and from a single death my chassis condition went from 2000 to 1800. The guy I was helping out died two times (maybe three) and his Advanced X-Wing is already at 1400 condition. At this rate you die 10 times in your Advanced X-Wing and it's gone forever. I really have a problem with this since it's a pretty tough mission (unless you know how to handle a Corvette) and the ship should be better since it is an advanced version. Does anyone else agree that these shouldn't decay so rapidly?

Yeah but if you're sitting at 10/10 condition and get hit once you'll be blown to pieces. Right?

And as for using it for special occasions... I agree, but I'll be using it for my Master missions as well as about 6 other guildies' Master missions. I'm not sure it'll even make it through all that. I just know that my regular X-Wing is at about 800 condition from more than 10 deaths. Heck, my single Z-95 lasted me all the way to 4/3/3/3 and I died many, many times through that adventure.
