Thread: BEST BLASTERS IN THE GAME?
My reason for not using the Null's is for some reason people ahve an easier time aiming and using the Mark 5s then they do teh Null's. Can't figure out why but the graphic for the null seems to give people more trouble then the graphic for a baster.
For you're JSF I would go with 2 crafted Mark 4s. Again go for speed then I would get mass under 14k each. After that it is back to effectiveness values.
I don't know how much these would cost you. But they would be custom from a Shipwright. Most pilots still go for pure dmg so that is what you will find stocked on the vendors most of the time.
I made my pair of Mark 5 for my YT and they have a refire rate of .250 each. They only hit for 1.9-3.1k and have an effectiveness of .505 each, but they fill space with blaster fire when you pull the trigger.
Forgot to mention you will use less mass with Mark 5s then Nulls also. With 5 million you might think you can't fill it up... You can... Suprised me...

until you can nab some 4500-4700 dmg lvl 10 loot drops your best bet is going to be speed crafted mark V blasters. with .250 speed you'll end up with a fairly decent DPS competitive with anything up to the best level 9 guns, but much lighter.
Alternativly REd reward sheilds and two Boltdrivers.

I have two RE'd lvl 10 guns on my Rihkx, 4500 dmg and 4800 dmg, my third gun is a 3890 lvl 8. This is an insane setup and everytime I help a person on a mission or am grouped I hearwhatthe heckkind of guns do you have in that thing???
I have a similar setup in my Krayt except my RE'd reward blaster from back before there was a Krayt doesnt show up correctly. It is mounted on the wings, and fires from the two center hardpoints. Talk about focused firepower...

RE'ed lvl 10 would be optimal for a Decimator, but building a pair would require a minimum of 20 lvl 10 loot weapons, perferably more so you have a larger selection. In the interm, I'd recommend using a pair of "Null Bolt" blasters, the Elite POB weapons crafted by SWs. I made a set for a friend last night, and was very impressed by how they turned out.
Null Bolt (stats based off my memory. Used a quick shot upgrade, all final experimentation into speed and then split into damage)
Damage: 2400-3400 ish
Vs Armor and Shields: .534
Refire Rate: .280 ish
Can't remember the energy per shot, but with WO3 it barely drained his capacitor, toss on CapacitorO3 and it never moved.
.. got some nice null bolts the other day
Dmg 2400 4000
with a .250 refire (I'm assuming .250 ..they were .247 but I hear they get rounded off after a while, I'll have to check em again)
The firing effect can be confusing if you pay attention to it, instead of a straight line there is a second somwhat persistant effect that almost zig-zags as the blast fires out. It's really kinda goofy looking .. to the point I'd call it a bug. Looks cool from a distance, allmost like green lightning bolts. From the turret itself though they are 4 bright green dots sized to fit the 4 barrels of the cannon, but they are spaced to the sides kinda randomly, seems like they should be in-line

I assume 2400-4400, not 24,000-44,000 like you said?
If not that guy just became the richest toon on his server!
