Thread: Tier 5 Loot drops.

Is anyone else getting terrible space loot? After about two hours flying around, roasting Tier 5 ships, I got crap for loot. Out in Kessel I was looting level 5 and 6 components. Pretty depressing.
On a side note, does anyone have a link to the what MOB drops what loot in space? I need some bigger guns.

"good" loot is rare in kessel, deep space is the better place for high lvl loot

Deep space is probably the best place to loot high level components. I was trying out the duty missions from Kashyyyk (Sordaan's to be exact) and after 1 hour, I looted mostly level 8-10s but they were mostly droid interfaces. But at least they were mostly high level loots. Unfortunately, I had to bail out after an hour. 3 T5 Novas and its T5 Kimogila escorts were too much for me and it wasn't worth the measly credits that that you get from them.

annecdotally i find i get better drops off gunboats, etc.
your best best is in DS though, simply because there are more ships to be had there. (usually)

Where do you find mobs in DS? When ever I go there, the only thing I can find are decimators escorted by 6 TIE Agressors, which tear my azz up hard.

I keep hearing that DS is great for loot .. but in my experience I get nothing but crap there.
tons of lv 10 reactors with lv 10 mass, and lv 1 generation.
tons of lv 10 boosters with insane mass and lv 6 speeds
and tons of lv 5 and under components
Seriously when I dropped my shipwright I cleaned out my lv 10's .. 3 full packs, plenty of filler, but only 2 items decent enough to justify an RE. Everything else went to theremaining localSW for filler.

loot is random, it doesn't depend on the spot and probably doesn't depend on the mob although i think boats drop better stuff.
kill lots of mobs and you get more loot. what zone has the most mobs? what zone can you kill them most efficiently in? for me, without a doubt it's DS and in there i've looted a 41k gen reactor, numerous terrific 4000-4600dmg lvl 10 guns, fast lvl 10 guns,fast engines (back in the day)and millions upon millions of chassis dealer reject loot.
i gave a friend all my reject lvl 10s the other day and he made some absurd amount of cash off them. it's about efficiency and it's probably variable depending on the player moreso than the zone.
