Well, basicly, I'm a Rebal Pilot I have 200 Faction with them, and, I want to go Imperial and I have 26 Faction with them, I went to the Imperial Recruiter and all he said to me was "I've seen you're face before! You're a known Rebal Pilot!"

Is there a way I can go Imp?

yeah, there is a way to go imperial. You must first find a rebel pilot coordinator, talk to him and retire from the alliance.

This will DUMP all of your pilot skills. Make sure that you have emptied any parts you want to keep from your ships because you will not be able to access them later. I recommend that if you are anywhere near Ace, to go ahead and do it becuase of the ace exp bonus to re-grind. After dumping your pilot skills, go talk to one of the imp pilot trainers (listed in the FAQ thread at the top of this folder) and you are on your way. If you have the greivous, jsf, arc 170, or y-8, you'll still be able to use them ince you reach the correct pilot level for them. I left my JSF loaded with my best gear (some of it lvl 10) and was able to use it as soon as I was 4/3/3/3 neutral pilot. I wish I had left a tie fighter and interceptor loaded with good stuff because they'd be nice for re-grinding imp lvls after getting my hands on the arc 170.

Well, I retired from the Rebal Pilots and I went to a Imperial Pilot Trainer on Kaadra, Theed and he still is telling me that I am a known Rebal Pilot, I look at my faction and it says I'm a Rebal Pilot on Leave. How can I get the Imps to let me join?

You have to drop your ground faction as rebel as well...go neutral.

FYI if you drop ground rebel it will drop your rebel space profession automaticly, makes it a quick one stop affair. Just make sure you have all your ships deeded, except for the ARC

Also if I may add, make sure you DO NOT have an inspiration buff when you drop your pilot profession, otherwise you will be in the negatives on Pilot XP (ie. If you have 500k of banked Pilot XP you will loose 110% when you drop pilot if you have an inspiration buff ( that's - 550,000 pilot xp)) and will have to grind it out if you get one of the "Working as intended" CSR's to help you)

Can you loose your current profession to loose your negitive? I know its kind of silly, but I wonder if it would work?

I never tried, It might work.

The negative XP happened to a guildmate when he droped Storm Squadron and went to Inquisition Squadron, he had about 100k when he droped SS and went IS, it took us about a half hour to grind the negative 110k XP off.

The only other alternative is to file a CSR ticket and hope you get a CSR that will reset your pilot XP to 0
